To Increase Personal Cash Flow
During the waxing or full moon, hold a piece of aventurine in your dominant hand and concentrate on money flowing to you. Enchant the stone by saying:
Money come and money grow
Into my purse gush and flow
And fill it to the very top
Then keep on coming - never stop.
Place the stone in your pocket or purse, and carry it with you constantly.
To Increase Physical Energy
Hold a quartz crystal against your Third Eye (the spot between your eyebrows) and visualise your energy levels rising. Then take it one step further: see yourself with more energy than you can possibly use in one day. Still holding the stone to the Third Eye, chant:
Energy come and rise and stay
Be enough for work and play
With this stone now bonded be
Increase my physical energy.
Wear the stone or carry it with you.
To Attract Love
It is best never to do magic to make another person love you. Instead do the following spell!
You will need two light green, light blue or pink candles; some rose oil and a few rose petals.
Scratch your name on one of the candles and 'unknown lover' on the other candle. Rub some rose oil on each of the candles, place them in a holder and then set them side-by-side on a stable surface (or on your alter if you have one). Scatter rose petals around the candles. Light the candles and then chant the verse below three times:
Kissed by the stars in the heavens
Warmed by the sun above
All spirits of joy and happiness
Bring me my own true love.
Leave the candles to burn out but do not leave them unattended.
To Protect
You will need one red and one black candle, myrrh or protection oil, two sharp pins and some sea salt.
Rub oil into the candles and place them in a holder on a stable surface (or on your alter) side-by-side. Stick a pin in each candle about a quarter of an inch from the top. Sprinkle the salt in an anticlockwise circle around the black candle and in a clockwise circle around the red candle. Chant the verse:
Great barriers of shining light protect me from all harm that's near.
Eternal light surrounds my soul, dissolving harm and dread and fear.
Visualise yourself surrounded by great walls of protection that nothing or no one can cross. When the candle flames reach the pins, extinguish the candles. The next day, move the pins down another quarter of an inch and repeat the spell. Do this for seven days. Then on the last day leave the candles to burn out completely. Bury any remaining wax.
To Gain Focus
You will need a white candle, magnifying glass, vanilla extract and pencil and paper.
Draw an eye on the candle. Place a few drops of vanilla extract on the candle top, and work a little into the wick. Pay attention to the aroma and inhale it deeply. Light the candle and say:
Quiet, mind now be still
Focus on what I now will.
No scattering or thought dissension-
I order you to pay attention.
Hold the magnifying glass in front of the eye on the candle then bring it up to your Third Eye. Say:
Bring clear focus to details
Enlarge and bring them into scale
Attend each project one by one
Grant clarity 'til work is done.
Make a to-do list in order of priority and place it in front of the candle. Put the magnifying glass on top of the list. Leave them there until the candle burns completely. Carry the magnifying glass with you and get started on your list.
For Change and Transformational Growth
This is a great spell to perform when you feel that your life is going nowhere.
Carefully pick a dandelion that is in the 'fluff' stage. Meditate for a few moments on the growth process of the flower. Think about the changes it undergoes from the time that it first pokes its head through the soil, to the stage when it reseeds itself. Look at the dandelion and say:
Oh, dandelion of growth and change
Transformed from sprout to flower range
And then to fluff and then to seed
Ever changing little weed
Bring positive changes to my life
Bring them quickly without strife
Help me grow too, spiritually
As I will so mote it be!
Charm For Courage
You will need a piece of jewellery and some cedar oil. Any sort of jewellery will do as long as it is something that you like enough to wear frequently.
Rub some oil into the piece of jewellery you have selected and chant:
I imbue you with courage, and bravery, and nerve,
I empower you with self-confidence, so you may serve
My needs when anxieties attempt to emerge
Eradicate them; let new confidence surge.
Wear the jewellery as needed.
